Say Hello to the Cactus Alien!

This manga is full of cute and hilarious scenes of young love.  If you like cute, funny mangas, then this is the manga for you!  It'll make you go "awww" and do your little squeal of happiness in the twists and turns of the plot.  On the cuteness scale, I would probably rate it a 7-9 because of the mangaka's drawings and such.  On a scale of story line, I would probably rate it a 7-8 because although it has some surprising scenes in it, it also has the scenes you would probably see in a bunch of other mangas too.  All in all, I absolutely LOVE this manga, and I would definitely recommend it to you!!

Saboten no Himitsu is a humorous love story of a girl named Yamada Miku.  Miku-chan has had a crush on a guy named Fujioka Kyouhei.  Most of his friends say that he is stupid and he certainly acts like it too.  He serves as the comedic side of the manga, and he certainly does it well (in my opinion, anyway).  He really does act stupid and retarded sometimes, quote on quote "test?  What's a test?  Is it edible?"  Even though he acts like a kid, it's said that in junior high Fujioka was a yankee/"ganster"...yeah.  Anyways, moving on, so then she finally (after some chapters or so, I think...) confesses to him only to get a response of something along the lines of "I don't know what love is!!"  He does tell her to wait for him though, which is kind of sweet.
I'm not going to tell you anymore than that because you have to go find out what happens by yourself!!

And now for some cute pictures ;)

Haha, he calls her a cactus alien ( ◕ )/

Look!  It's Miku!!  And a cute little cactus at that ( >◕ )

Fujioka!  What are you looking at..?  \( > o < )/

Awwwwww!  He's blushing, fufufu...so cute ( >< )/

P.S. (Go check out ElizaRose's blog!!  It's like the amazing in amazingness (;  She describes her manga so much better than mine, and plus she has posted about mangas and animes that you have probably already seen/read.  Here's the url address:  http://www.myinnermelody.blogspot.com/ or you can go to my profile and look under the blogs that I follow.  Her's is titled "My Inner Melody.")

Aw, thanks! Though I do agree that our writing styles are different, you describe the cute and sweet mangas better than I do. I usually do sophisticated, passionate, or dramatic/action mangas and animes... Come to think of it, I haven't done a manga yet! Haha I think I'll do Kitchen Princess though- it's SO sweet! ^_^
